Ms. Wilson is a Licensed Psychological Associate and has worked in the Hickory area since 1999 specializing in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents having emotional, social, behavioral or school related difficulties. Ms. Wilson provides individual, family and group therapy utilizing a strengths-based and family centered model of treatment for a wide variety of emotional and/or psychological issues.  She provides psycho-educational evaluations for possible learning problems as well as ADHD. Ms. Wilson believes in working closely with the prescribing physician or psychiatrist to provide feedback regarding the efficacy of medications prescribed for emotional or psychological issues. In addition to her work in private practice, Ms. Wilson has clinical, supervisory and administrative experience from her work within the public mental health system. She served as Program Supervisor and Program Coordinator for Gaston Lincoln Mental-Health during her tenure there from 1999 to 2004..
